New look squad

Following last seasons relegation its been a rather tough pre season for me personally, only last week i lost two key players Bas Morally & Tyrone Newton to Colliers Wood, they follow Jake Hill & James Duke that were already there. James Hayworth has signed for Farnborough. Tate Greenaway has moved to Horley Town to try and fill Ashley Nadesan's boots. Ahmed Hussain & Dan McLaughlin still sidelined with long term injuries, other players not returning include Jimmy Hearne, Jimmy Harding, Freddie Myers & Sam Hewitt.I've had to pretty much build a new squad from scratch, only Ian Hewitt, J Flack, Kyle Green, Matty Ellis & Ade Oketoki are still at the club from the squad we had this time a year ago! Josh Doe & Joe Charles joined the club half way through the season last term and have stayed on this year. Ryan Howard (17), Adam Scamell (16) & George Issacs (16) have all impressed me during pre season and they will all be promoted from the under 18s. Aaron Aygemang (Camberley Town) brings a huge amount of experience to a very young squad, Aaron has recently brought down close friend Kienion Robinson who has fitted in nicely to the squad. Aaron 'AJ' Johnson, Andrew Jones & Lewis Skipp (Peacehaven) are three very talented footballers and I'm pleased to add them to the squad. Dan Green (Corinthian Casuals) is a massive signing for myself and the club, Dan is a good friend of mine and to be honest it didn't take much persuading once he saw some of the youth players we possess at the club, I know he is keen to pass on some of his experience & knowledge to the younger players. Ross Tomassi & Christian Money return to the club after a year out. Experienced keeper Mark Daniels also returns to the club after a brief spell at Colliers Wood. Adam Marie who done well towards the end of last year and will keep his place in the squad after being promoted from the reserves. Tom Tyler is another massive boost, Tom returns after over 2 years out through injury! Casey Lummumba, Abiola Ajayi, Martyn Gange, Rudolf Tewe & Roland Dadzie complete the new look squad.

We've had a few weeks together in pre season, played a few friendlies and I think we're ready for the new campaign. Last time I managed in Div One we finished the season on a high (14 games unbeaten) and ended up getting promoted on the final game of the season, this squad is as talented and hungry as the last and I'm confident of a successful season.
