On Saturday, the u23s played their first pre-season game against Molesey FC and drew 2-2. John 'Juppy' Jupp, the new u23s manager, led the team for the first time and said it was "a good first run out for an extremely youthful u23 side. Pre-season is always about seeing how the players apply themselves and for an extremely young side they put in plenty of hard work and carried out the instructions asked of them. Today's game was promising, showing the early rewards of hard work at training that we will look to build on in the weeks to come."

John has played for and worked with the CHUFC first team management for some time. He says "It was an easy decision when asked to take on the role".

The players, staff, and management would like to thank Otis Taylor and Wes Lennon for leading the U23s last season and wish them both good luck at CB Hounslow u23s.
