Ahead of the 25/26 season, Chessington & Hook are seeking creative content volunteers to join the team to manage the club's expanding online presence.

These roles could suit one skilled media person or three or four individuals, all bringing their talents to CHUFC, working with the First Team, U23/Reserves, U18s, Youth, and new Ladies' Team.

• Promoting the Club: Build the club's brand and reputation
• Match Day Graphics - Using Canva or another graphics app, create match day graphics for all teams to be used across all platforms.
• Social Media management - Maintaining the club's presence day to day, uploading match day graphics, posting announcements, engaging with teams, supporters, and responding to enquiries on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
• Digital Programme Editor - currently created on Canva, updated every home game, published on the website and social media
• Website Editor - Creating news content with Club Officials, Team managers, and photographers, using Pitchero - see website for examples.
• Photographer - Home & Away match photographer, official team photographer, photo/video social media content creator.

Visit our website and social media pages for examples of previous years' content, which we aim to improve upon. Must have own equipment. Training can be given on Pitchero.

Volunteer role/s: gaining practical experience, building a media network, and developing essential skills. The learning opportunities and career connections can be a significant asset in the long run. The role is ideal for a student or someone looking to launch a career in sports journalism or the sports media industry, or for someone with a creative flair keen to make a mark on the club’s media output.
