Chances Missed costs us.

Last night we lost to a weakened South Park side in our last chance to bring silverware to the club this season.

After leaking 14 goals in our last three games the Manager made some changes with Ricky Bowry returning to the side in goal and ---------------making his debut at centre half,with these two coming into the side it also meant that several positional changes were made and to be honest we looked a better side than we have for the last couple of weeks with Matt Ellis dropping into center half and having a good game and Aaronn Leacock going into centre mid.and he run the game in the first half.

The game itself was end to end with Chessy going close on a number of occasions the best being a 25yarder from the returning Elliott Mitchell which was heading in the top corner until the South Park keeper brought off a very good save.

We were playing some good flowing football but in this game you get nothing for being pleasing to the eye its all about goals and when we weren't missing chances we were offside.

We could have gone in at half time 4-0 up and that would have been a fair reflection on the way we were playing and South park could have had no complaints.

At the start of the second half we went back to our old ways and the longer the game went on the more frustrated we became with ourselves but like previous games we started to get a foothold in the game but the final ball was not good enough into the box.

As always in these sort of games the team on top falls for a sucker punch and so did we as from a freekick played into our box we failed to clear the ball and it landed up in the back of the net.1-0 to South Park.

Chessy were still creating chances but like the first half we were ether offside or off target but our build up play was good with Dan Harding and Elliott Michell causing all kinds of problems to the South Park defense when running at them but it seemed whenever we hit a ball into the South Park box there was always a red shirt there.

Will players ever learn that you cant shout and swear across the pitch at a ref.there is only one out come and Theo Woodhouse found this out as he let his frustration get the better of him when the ref. awarded a freekick against us when the linesmen who was on top of the incident gave nothing.

It was now all us and to there credit South Park defended as if there lives depended on it and Sub. Jamie Ellis found this out when after good build up play he had a shot blocked on the line by three South Park defenders.
