For 45 minutes we were playing some good football , not at our very best , but well enough to pretty much dominate the first half . There will be some that will disagree but I know what I watched .
Athan was denied twice with good saves from Bridons goalkeeper , Tobe also had a shot well saved and we got into a number of good positions that were nearly moments . We scored one very pleasing goal when our full backs combined well , with Ryan finishing smartly , whilst at the other end our debutant goalkeeper Theo whilst tidy in what he did was rarely called into action .
At the break it was unfamiliar for us to be in front but the coaching staff spoke well and the team was set and their was a confident air about them .
As usual the optimism was mis placed , as for the umpteenth time this season a ball over the top was our undoing as we made a mess of things allowing the forward a straightforward finish to bring the game level early in the half. Bridon were noticeably energised and we seemed shocked that the scores were level .

Our hosts carried a much bigger threat in the last 40 minutes with their pace up front and the game was much more even , yet we still gave ourselves plenty of opportunities to score all of which were spurned .

With both sides having huffed and puffed their way towards the final moments , it seemed we would at least take a very deserved point , but from our promising attack we lost possession and again one ball over the top saw us desperately trying to retrieve the situation and whilst we managed to hold play up momentarily , the ball ultimately found the back of our net and a last minute winner denied us of even breaking the most horrific run that we are in with a draw .

Its more hard work from all of us and we must stay together if we are to see an upturn in fortunes any time soon .
