This game was a 6 pointer for both teams,if Sandhurst had have won it would have carried them to within 6 points of Chessy and on the same number of games played.
The game itself was a game of penalties with Chessy being awarded three and Sandhurst one.
Dan Harding scoring from two of ours and Matt Ellis missing one while Sandhurst scored theirs
Chessy always looked dangerous going forward and Sandhurst tried to hit us on the break but we restricted them to long range shots and chances from corners.
Matt Ellis again proved what a good signing for the Chessy he was as his composure on the ball and his controlled passing run the show and not to be outdone Dan Harding showed what a good player he is by hitting a hat-trick.
Special mention must be made of Danny Heath who came into the side at late notice, due to late drop outs and injures, and played centre half.Danny must of thought his days of playing first team football were well and truly over and has been having the odd run out in the Res helping the development of some of our younger res players.
This was by no means a two man show as we now have a squad of players that work hard for each other and have proved before that when they all click they can play any side in this league off the park.
