As early as the 4th min. Chessy showed there intent when Elliott Mitchell played a good ball through for Aarron Leacock whos shot from distance flew well wide.

Then in the 12th min. Elliot Mitchell fired in a great free kick which flew acoss the six yard box with no Chessy player taking a gamble run into the box.and just a min.later Windsor had there first real chance of the game when they played a early ball into the Chessy box only for Theo Woodhouse to put the ball just over his own bar with an attempted clearance.

The game now was very open with both teams playing for a win but it was Windsor who came close when a low shot was well handled by Ricky Bowery in the home goal and again in the 30th min Bowery came to the home teams rescue with another good save low down to his right hand post.

Five min. later a free kick for the home side taken by Mitchell was saved by the Windsor keeper,in the 40th min.against the run of play Windsor took the lead when there wide player got behind our defender and fired a low cross which found the onrushing Windsor forward who hit a great shot into the bottom corner giving Bowery in the home goal no chance,as our defenders just never reacted to the Windsor runners.

In the last couple of games our heads dropped as soon as we went behind but not today our response was positive as Dave Francis played a good ball into Dan Harding whos shot was saved by the Windsor keeper but from the resulting clearance Seb. Morrelly shut down and won the ball off the defender and with just the keeper to beat passed the ball into the net giving the keeper no chance to save.

Half Time. 1-1.

The second half started the same as the first with Chessy trying to press up the pitch but were now finding the Windsor team trying to push us back, but in the 52nd min the goal of the game was scored by Chessy when we played out of defense to Dave Francis whos touch and pass to Dan Harding found him in a little bit of space and he fired in a low shot that bounced over the keeper to put us in front and I can honestly say we deserved to be.

Spaces were now beginning to open all over the pitch and with both teams playing for a win the game was end to end and when one of the Windsor breaks was halted by Seb. Morrelly by running into the back of the Windsor forward when all he had to do was keep goal side left the ref no option but to give Windsor a penalty which they duly dispatched 2-2.

Windsor were now causing problems to the home defense and only a poor finish and two great saves from Ricky Bowery kept us in the game but it would have been a grave misjustice if we had not taken anything from this game.

It has to be said that Ricky Bowery coming into the team and the positional changes of Aaronn Leacock to midfield and outstanding Matt Ellis to centre half makes us look a better balanced team and much harder to beat.Well done to the whole squad.
