Sometimes results tell a different story to the game itself, but Colliers deserved this result as they wanted a result more than us.

Players let us down again by for the second game in a row not turning up for this game.

For the players that did turn up when will we ever learn ?

Many more results like this and for the first time in our history we will be relegated to Div.1.

Colliers should have gone ahead in there first attack of the game but they missed the target.
Chessy then controled the game for the next 20min with Colliers relying on counter attacking with long ball up to there very quick forwards.
Kris Adewale opened up the Colliers defense and fired in a great cross that went across the six yard box but no Chessy player took advantage.

In our previous games we had given away silly freekicks around our 18 yard box and these have cost us dear so when Kris Adewale gave another one away in this game we feared the worst but Colliers could not take advantage this time.

The next chance fell to Chessy, when Vic Martin broke out of defense and found Jimmy Harding who put in a good cross and this found Dave Francis who got in front of his marker but just headed over.
The same player found his way into the refs book for not retreating 10 yards from a Colliers freekick but he was retreating and the Colliers full back made sure he fired it at the home player thus causing him to get booked.

Colliers were now taking charge of the game and only a good save low down by Mark Daniels returning in the Chessy goal kept Colliers at bay.
Colliers then took the lead when Matt Ellis gave away a penalty the result kick was well dispatched 1-0 to Colliers.

Colliers were now on top and following a good passage of play there forward fired over when it seemed easier to score and only a few minutes later the Colliers centre forward had another chance with only the home keeper to beat but again he fired over.

Now it was our turn to force a good save from the Colliers keeper with Dave Francis hitting a low drive which was going into the bottom corner untill the keeper turned it around the post.
In the last attack of the half Kris Adewale played the ball into Frankie Green who in turn layed the ball back to Dan Harding who fired just wide.

Half Time. Chessington & Hook Utd 0-1 Colliers Wood Utd.

Chessy had the first chance of the second half but Dan Harding fired well wide, and again after a good run by Jimmy Harding who played the ball into Dave Francis who in turn played a great ball to Dan Harding but the linesmen flag halted the move for an offside.

Kris Adewale was replaced by Jamie Ellis for the home team and it was Jamie who got Chessy back in the game when from a corner he outjumped the Colliers defense to head home.1-1.

Colliers never dropped there heads and carried on taking the game to Chessy but it was Chessy who following some good inter play between Jimmy Harding and Tom Tyler and the latter crossing for Dan Harding to fire Chessy in front. 2-1.
Within a few minutes Dave Francis played a great ball through to Dan Harding who went around the keeper but somehow rolled the ball the wrong side of the post.

That was the turning point of the game because from that moment Colliers took the game by the scruff of the neck and plain and simple wanted the result and points more than us and great credit to them as we had no answer to there pace up front and from resulting play scored 3 goals to win the game.
On current form Colliers will finish above us this season and this means we would be relegated unless we find the form of earlier in the season at least this coming weekend we can welcome back players who will only better our squad and make us a stronger side.
