No one would have given Chessy a chance in this game but to be fair Paul Norris (Manager)has been saying for the last few weeks that he fancied our chances against Guernsey, and he was proved right.
The players were a credit to the club and put in a great performance that the Manager himself said it was the best team performance from a Chessy side that he has seen since he has been at the club (10 yrs+).
In front of a crowd of more then 1000 home fans this Chessy side outplayed the home side and received a standing ovation from the home supporters when they left the pitch.
This was only the second time this season Guernsey FC have been beaten at home in the League this season.
Goals from Dan Harding and Lee Davison settled the game, but it was a great team effort and every player deserves to be named man of the match.
This result just goes to show how well we can play when we get our strongest side out but due to work commitments and long term injures Paul Norris has not been able to field this side since about the third game of the season.
