Great win Great 3 Points.

This game was not about playing good football it was more about who wanted the three points the most and after our last performance against Dorking we needed a result and we got a good response from the players.
The pitch was not the best either side has played on this season but it was the same for both sides and who ever got used to the pitch first would be the winners and as it happens the home team settled first and took a 2-0 lead thanks to Vic Martin,but just before half time Dorking pulled a goal back when the ref decided to award a penalty to Dorking for an infringement as all the players were jostling with each other in the box following a corner.(You see this in every game but no one gives penalty's for it its half a dozen of one and six of the another but trust us to get a ref who does.)
Also the same thing happened when both teams got corners before he gave the penalty and after but this was the only one that he gave a foul for.
No wonder Managers get hot under the coller.

The second half was more of the same except that Dorking now looked like they wanted to make a game of it but some good defending kept the lively Dorking Forwards at bay.
We welcomed back Captain Tony Houghton for this game as he has been out for six weeks injured and with him and Matt Ellis looking solid at the heart of the home defense Dorking never gave us the same problems as they did at there place.
Aaron Leacock is trying to claim the third when his shot deflected off a defender to send the Dorking keeper the wrong way.(Dubious goal panel still sitting) and Dorking just to let us no not we were still in a game pulled another one back 3-2 but the game was wrapped up when leading goal scorer Dan Harding bent one in from a very difficult angle, great shot,great goal 4-2.
