As early as the first minute Theo Woodhouse left the Alton defense in his wake with a great run and cross but no home forward had made a run into the box.

The next chance came after 3mins when good inter play between Theo Woodhouse and Dan harding see the latters shot hit the post,and just 2mins later Jimmy Harding saw his low 20yard drive well saved by the Alton Keeper.

It was now the turn of Alton to come close with one effort finding the back of the net only to be ruled offside,and another just wide of the far post.

From the resulting goal kick Theo Woodhouse found himself with the ball on the half way line and went on one of his runs down the flank beating two defenders before firing in a cross to the near post,with Tommy Harper meeting the ball and firing high into the net 1-0 to Chessy after 8mins.

After 13mins a great crossfield ball from Alex Penfold found Theo Woodhouse who in turn found Tommy Harper but the Alton keeper again pulled off a good save.

Over the next 15 mins the home side had five chances to increase their lead but with a mixture of good goalkeeping and bad finishing the score still stayed at 1-0.untill the 41st min when a Tony Houghton free kick found Dan Harding who in turn found Theo Woodhouse who laid the ball to Tommy Harper who was not going to miss this chance and gave the Keeper no chance.2-0

Half Time: Chessington & Hook Utd 2-0 Alton Town.

The second half was less then 5 mins old and after some good work again by Theo Woodhouse, Tommy Harper got his hat trick when Theo Woodhouse shut down a defender and nicked the ball off him and squared for Tommy Harper to tap in.

To Altons credit they did not give up and pulled a goal back in the 55 min with a far post header.3-1.

Chessy answer came with a great attacking move with Dan Harding,Tommy Harper and Theo Woodhouse combining well only to see the Alton keeper again pull off a good save,but from the resulting corner Alex Penfold fired into the near post and under pressure from Tom Tyler a defender headed the ball into his own net.4-1.

The game itself was now becoming very scrapey and how Chessy never added to there was only down to good goalkeeping and bad finishing.

In a game that never had a bad tackle in it the Referee still managed to book 9 players(He was being Accessed).
